Taxes and customs limits for import
When creating your package, you should keep in mind customs limits for import into the recipient's country. When those limits are exceeded, you are due to pay taxes according to the country's laws.
The recipient pays all taxes.
Russia
The threshold for tax-free imports into Russia is 200 Euro and 68 lbs (31 kg) per one package. If the package's value exceeds that amount, you must pay 15% of the excess amount, but not less than 2 Euro per 1 kg (2.2 lbs) overweight.
If both limits are exceeded, the higher amount is being charged. In case of any duty, recipients have to pay a brokerage fee of 500RUB.
European Union
The threshold for tax-free imports into the European Union is 22 Euro. If the value of the package exceeds that amount, recipient must pay 20% of the total amount. In addition to the taxes, if the package value is greater than 150 Euro, there is a customs fee of 12% of the total value.
